Reimagine women’s health with Rela.

Specialist brand strategy, growth marketing, and community engagement and communications consultancy for women’s health innovators and brands.

Rela was founded by Rebekah Lloyd, a commercialisation expert and advisor in women’s health. Following her own lived experience of a 10 year delayed endometriosis diagnosis after living in chronic pain, and with over a decade’s experience launching and growing leading global healthcare and pharmaceutical brands, she identified a gap in the commercialisation support available for women’s health and femtech solutions and founded Rela to provide accessible expertise to the community.

Women’s health is a $1 trillion opportunity…

The time for women’s health to be considered a niche is in the past. According to a McKinsey and World Economic Forum report in 2024, the women’s health market presents one of the largest opportunities to improve lives and economies globally.

The worldwide femtech market reached a valuation of $51 billion in 2021, and is anticipated to achieve $103 billion by 2030, reflecting an 8.1% compound annual growth rate per Statista.

…yet the industry lacks tailored support to make this a reality.

Women’s health start-ups are often lead by scientists, engineers or clinicians, however there are only a handful of options and programs available globally that provide the nuanced strategic marketing expertise needed to bring their women’s health or femtech solution to market.

Combined with the lack of investment - in 2023, women's health companies secured just 4.3% of the $26.5 billion total venture capital invested in start-ups categorised as "health" or "healthcare," according to PitchBook - there isn’t the funding available to work with big agencies, and therefore barriers to launch and growth success of innovations are rife.

Introducing Rela, a new approach to women’s health consultancy.

Through our tailored, straight-talking, and patient-centred approach to consultancy and advisory, we power the success of emerging and leading change-makers in the women’s health and femtech community. From go-to-market strategy and growth marketing, to stakeholder engagement and investor readiness, to tapping into our trusted network of legal and regulatory partners, we help you launch and grow your life changing innovation.

Our team have specialised in leading, launching and growing global pharmaceutical and healthcare brands and teams for over a decade, with clients including the likes of Astra Zeneca, Galderma, Merck, Novo Nordisk, Pfizer, and Takeda, so we understand the challenges and barriers that need to be overcome to successfully bring a healthcare product or service to fruition.

As passionate advocates for interest, investment and innovation in women’s health, and with extensive experience across the sector, we have collaborated with and supported a number of organisations and brands in the space to date, and have been featured internationally including The Guardian, BBC and Nasdaq as a result of our work.
